Hot School Districts In Lancaster
Whether you are new Lancaster County or a long-time resident, the school district matters. Districts with better ratings are generally more desirable and thus sellers there are get better prices. On average, homes were on the market for 35 days there. Of the 140 sales recorded in the Keystone MLS, 31 of them sold the same day they hit the market. That's 22%! Almost a quarter of all sales in the Warwick school district happened within hours.
In addition to homes going fast, they are going for over listed price. The following chart shows how many homes sold for list price or higher. Again, Warwick takes the lead. Of the 140 sales, 90 of them went for more. That's a whopping 64%.
So what does that mean? If you are a Buyer, you will need to be ready to jump on homes as soon as they hit the market, be ready to make offers right away, and present the best offer possible.
